Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally-invasive skin rejuvenation procedure involving a specialized device equipped with fine needles. These needles create tiny surface tears in the skin, activating the skin's innate healing process and promoting the production of collagen and elastin. This treatment can effectively address scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and other skin imperfections, ultimately revitalizing your complexion and revealing smoother, more youthful skin.

  • How long does it take to see microneedling results?

The majority of individuals typically notice enhancements in their skin a few weeks after their initial microneedling treatment. However, it may take as long as three to six months to fully realize the complete benefits of microneedling. For optimal results, it's advisable to undergo multiple sessions, each spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

  • Is there any downtime?

After your microneedling session, it's common for your skin to exhibit temporary redness or mild inflammation, which typically diminishes within a day or two. During the initial recovery period, we recommend refraining from intense exercise, using harsh skincare products, makeup, and avoiding direct and prolonged sun exposure.

  • Does it hurt?

Microneedling generally leads to only minor discomfort, often described as a mild tingling or pricking sensation on the skin's surface. To ensure your comfort during the procedure, a topical numbing agent is applied before treatment to minimize any potential discomfort.

  • What is the post procedure care for microneedling?

In the week following your microneedling treatment, it's advisable to avoid sun exposure and skincare products containing AHA and retinol. This approach will facilitate the healing and recovery process of your skin.
